Former Bishop Peter Ball was offered a caution by the CPS in an arrangement that the then Archbishop of Canterbury George Carey, now Lord Carey was party to.

Peter Ball, 83, former Bishop of Lewes and Bishop of Gloucester, pleaded guilty to two counts of indecent assault at the Old Bailey.
